First REAL Lucid Dream
Posted on: Sep-4th-2009, 03:57:24 AM |

Level of Lucidity (1-10): 7 | Dream Signs: flying, brother, strange occurance, changing mirror image, | Mood: Relaxed

I'm sitting at the computer. I am wearing my blue shirt outfit (from my senior pictures). my brother, wearing his orange Canes shirt and holding a small black object (binoculars?), comes up behind me and starts asking me something about something strange that has happened to him (I can't remember what exactly). So I turn around in the chair to try to make sense of what he's saying, and I realize that it must be a dream.

I then become lucid.

I tell Shane that it's just a dream. I wish him away, and he evaporates (LOL). I walk out of the den and into the foyer. Then I decide to fly. I first start hovering, and then I zoom around the house a bit, Superman-style. [Note: My house looked almost exactly like it does now. This almost never happens in my dreams.] I then touch down, and I try to summon a dream character to talk to, but I am unable to do it.

I try to fly again in the foyer. I start hovering, and I summon my digital camera (I wanted to take a picture in the mirror of my hovering self to see if it would come out in real life on my camera [Give me a break; I was dreaming. :P]) I kept trying to do it, but each time I would get the camera in the right position, I would fall (quite hard too.... ouch!). The weird thing is this: Each time I would look like different versions of myself. For example, I would look up and see my current self. The next time I tried to levitate, I would see my 4th grade self. The next time, I was my sixth grade self, dressed for a dance (Oh FSM.... >.< ). It was quite strange.

After a while, I became discouraged, and I thought "I will not be able to fly", and so I couldn't. Eventually, I was pretty much stuck to the ground, like gravity had doubled.

Then my lucidity and the dream faded away...
