im about 3 inches tall resting on a tree branch 100s of feet high off the ground.  beside me is a little blue bird a little taller than me.  so like anyone put in that situation tries to start conversation with the blue bird.  so i ask the bird,"hello what is your name" the bird not saying anything for a little while responds with a speech bubble. not a word came from his mouth but a white bubble with words that read,"hi im joseph" at first i thought nothing of the bubble and kept with conversation. "how is it being a bird" he responds again without talking, "its pretty nice lonely at times, but over all i cant complain...how is it being a human?"
"its pretty nice...its lonely at times too."
for a while we sat together saying nothing.
my mind began to wander and i decided to begin conversation again.
"you know joseph...i really wish i was a bird. ya know there is not much to worry about. you mate. feed your babies. and you FLY!"
joseph sat there for awhile without saying anything again.
finally out came another bubble and he responded.
"ya know i reallly wish i was a human"
"why" i ask
"well...you have relationships that make you happy make you sad. you live and have the ability to think. make decisions. feel all that life has to offer. you cry. you laugh. you hug and kiss. you fly everyday and dont even realize it. that is why i wish to be a human."
i sat and thought about what joseph had said-
