Level of Lucidity (1-10): 9 | Dream Signs: Flying, | Mood: Relaxed
Before I went to bed last night, I tried an exercise. I wrote, "I am dreaming. Look at my hands! I am dreaming." I wrote this ten times. It didn't seem to help as I woke up several times during the night and had ordinary dreams. But in the morning, as I drifted back to sleep after getting up to pee, I suddenly became aware I was dreaming.
I saw an acquatinance at work and I sort of zoomed in on her. I touched her and I knew I was dreaming. I looked around. I was under this large roof over a garden and a man was using an loud cutting machine to trim the morning glory vines growing on the wall of a manor house. His cutting machine was so loud, I covered my ears. (Probably some sound outside my window that I incorporated.) I decided to try and fly, and I levitated to the top of the roofed garden. It was a great sight from up there. I decided to explore my dream world and have a little fun.
Things sort of disolved, and I was in a bar. I remember looking at my hands and rubbing them together to keep the dream world intact. I felt my palms rubbing together very clearly. Then I looked up. The bar was very crowded. I could pick a person at random, and come up close to them, lift up their skirts, pull off their clothes, whatever. What else could I do? I chose a guy for no particular reason and began hitting him just to see if I could. I could. I decided to float up to the ceiling, and try and keep going through the floor to the apartment above the bar.
I passed through the floor and found myself in an apartment full of kitchens. Each room was a different kitchen. What about the next apartment? I floated up and passed through the floor into another apartment where a woman I know was sleeping. I floated into bed with her.
Sex in a lucid dream is disappointing, because when your sleeping body gets a physical feeling like arousal, you start to wake up and slip out of the dream.
I don't know how I got back into the dream, but I found myself on a college campus. There were a lot of people there. I soon tired of messing with strangers and was metaphorically twiddiling my thumbs, trying to come up with something to do next.
