Level of Lucidity (1-10): 8 | Dream Signs: stream, fish, man, woman, | Mood: Amazed

This dream placed me in a large room, like a large dining room. Very open, not overly decorated, like a large open style restaurant. I was sitting at a large wooden dining table and there were about 20 people seated at the table. They all seemed to be related or members of a family. There was an older couple, possibly the parents, and there were several adults, men and women and there were a number of children, including some babies at different ages. As we sat at the table, eating, talking, etc., I became aware that this was not my family and I felt a little out of place. Like I didn't quite belong, I wasn't directly related to these people. But they were all very nice, friendly, they fed me and included me in their activities and conversations. At one point, the older couple and a few others left the table and exited the room. I continued to socialize with the others at the table for a while. Soon I got up from the table and started to exit the room. As I approached the exit the older couple was returning to the room and the woman said to me “My husband doesn't think you like us.” I looked at him and noticed that he looked the same but had added some “accessories” to his outfit including some very colorful scarves and silly things in his hair. I said 'Oh, not true!” and turning to the man I said “I think you are hilarious!” They looked at me as if wondering whether that was a compliment or what. And I said to both “I mean I do like you and I think you are very funny and you make me laugh and that makes me happy.”

This seemed to please them and they turned to go back to the table as if nothing had happened. I then left the room and went outside to some vast garden areas. I began walking through the gardens just looking around and noticed a small stream, It was so narrow, only about 1 to 2 feet wide but very long. I couldn't really see the water, just a bit here and there. Just then a woman approached me and asked if I saw the Koi fish. I said “Koi? In that little stream? How could there be? They must be very small.” She smiled and said to go take a look. I walked over to the stream and looked down into the water and was amazed to see the Koi fish, so many of them, all different sizes and colors. And there were other fish as well of different types and colors. Although the stream was so narrow, it seemed to be very deep, I could not see the bottom of the stream. In fact, the color of the water was very deep blue almost black as it got deeper and I could see the fish a bit further down and they were quite large. I was very excited to see the Koi and I was disappointed that I didn't have any cheerios with me (a treat that Koi fish actually do like). I searched in my pockets and I could only find a pencil. I leaned down to the stream and started to put my pencil into the stream to get the attention of the fish. The woman said “I wouldn't do that if I were you.” And I said 'Oh?' and as I said it a fish like a pirahna came to the surface and showed its razor teeth. I jumped back and the woman giggled a little bit. I got up and began walking upstream and noticed a building up a short distance. It looked like an older out building or even an old barn, very rustic. As I was walking along the stream and watching the fish, the stream started getting a little wider maybe by about another foot. I couldn't believe how deep the stream appeared and as I was walking along I could faintly hear voices coming from the building. As I got closer to the building I noticed that the fish became fewer and fewer until there weren't anymore and then I suddenly saw animals! In the water, swimming along just below the surface. The first animal I saw was a koala. He was quite large, about 5 feet and the water made his fur look whiteish blue. Then I saw a smaller koala, a darker color. And then I saw what I thought was a small hippo. The eyes of the hippo looked up and straight at me and I called out “there he is!” and the hippo jumped up out of the water and onto the land. But it wasn't a hippo, it was a baby elephant! He was dark brown in color and he was very friendly and playful. He started playing with me and chasing me around and I was chasing him around and being very playful. Just then a man and a woman came out of the building. The woman was carrying a parasol and she was wearing a long gown. The man was dressed by sharply in a suit. The colors were rather plain, grays and tans. They walked over to the other side of the stream and turned and looked at me. The man leaned in to the woman and whispered in her ear, and she turned to him and said 'Not here now.' Then she lifted her right hand and raised it up to the parasol and slowly pulled her hand down and as her hand moved down, a curtain of energy and light came down like an energy field in front of her and the man. I could still see through the curtain but not a lot of details. It moved and shimmered and had small lights sparkling in the curtain and the man and woman were talking to each other. Then a few minutes later the woman moved her right hand back up toward the parasol and the energy field followed her hand until it disappeared. Then the man looked back at me and started walking toward me. He crossed over the stream and stopped, standing right in front of me. And then he gave a slight smile, closed his eyes and leaned back like he was going to fall back into the stream. But then suddenly he just disappeared and as he disappeared I saw a ripple in the air, like a small circle, where he vanished. This part of the dream was so real and so astonishing that I woke up.
